What to wear to your dance school audition/creative photo shoot

WHAT TO WEAR TO YOUR PHOTO SHOOT

IF YOU HAVE BOOKED AUDITION PHOTOGRAPHS

A strong, bright leotard can help your shots stand out. We recommend wearing the same leotard for all your poses, but you can change to a different leotard for your headshot if needed.

AUDITION HEADSHOTS

Please wear a leotard with a high neckline if possible, so that it frames your face

Students aged 15+ may wear hair up, or down

IF YOU HAVE BOOKED CREATIVE POSES

You can wear a total of two outfits

If needed, please ask Masters of Ballet in advance of the photo shoot if it’s possible to borrow a costume.

Strong, bright colours are good

Male dancers over 15 can consider a bare torso

OTHER IMPORTANT THINGS

PLEASE ARRIVE WITH HAIR READY

OVER 15’s CAN WEAR OPTIONAL VERY LIGHT MAKE-UP

• Please can a family member stay with under 12’s to help with outfit change. Over 12’s family member also welcome to stay.

• Photography  / filming will not be permitted at the photo shoot
